Back Pain Treatment Including Upper and Lower Spine Therapy

What Causes Upper and Lower Back Pain?

Low back pain is one of the most common complaints that an adult may experience in a lifetime. It is also known as pain in your lumbar spine. About 8 in 10 adults experience back pain during their lifetime. Back pain can range from a dull, constant ache to a sudden, sharp pain. Acute back pain comes on suddenly and usually lasts from a few days to a few weeks. Back pain is called chronic if it lasts for more than three months. Most back pain comes from sprains and strains from stressful movements; lifting something without using proper way or a sudden twisting motion are just two examples of how you can hurt your back. Most back pains go away on its own, though it may take a while. Resting and taking pain relievers can help, but if your back pain doesn’t improve after three days, you should see your doctor.
